I’m trying to insert a purchase tracking event on my shopify store for GA4. I’ve read that I need to place it in the Order Processing section with additional scripts, but I can’t find it. I’m using a Basic Plan at the moment.
Or can I just place it under order status page additional scripts?

Yes, you can add your tracking script in the additional scripts in your checkout settings.
That’s the only way to insert a javascript code on checkout without Shopify plus plan.

Does the Shopify Plus Plan still exist? I’m only being shown the following options: Basic Shopify, Shopify, Advanced Shopify.
I’m experiencing the exact same issue as Wellnessplus. I tried upgrading to the Advanced Shopify Plan, however I still experienced the issue.
Should I just add the code to the additional script section under Order Status? Will it still work?
