As you may have figured, while you cannot add an image to the custom item at time of creation, I wanted to check if adding the image to the order timeline was an acceptable solution for either of your needs.
Essentially, once you create the draft order with example item “repair”, then an order is created. There if you scroll further down you will see the order timeline, where you can add notes and files, including images.
Steps:1. While writing a comment, click the paper clip icon in the comment box.
- Choose the file that you want to attach using the dialog box, and then click Open.
Let me know if that is an appropriate workaround.
