I 1 one earrings which consist of 
1 earwire-4 beads 1 finding- 4 pins. This is materials Now I have labor cost 5 loops say. So what I am trying to do is add the products and labor as items with skus for each. Then I want to be able to build the item from those sku’s Is this possible I have an example of wha I tried.

The app Material Manager is able to do this. It lets you enter an inventory of raw materials into the app and then link your variants to those materials specifying how much of each they use. The app can auto update your variant inventory based on material inventory and has an option to also enable syncing of total material costs to your variant cost.
In your example you would enter each of the jewellery components into the app, as well as a material to track labour hours.

If you’re looking to build a finished product from multiple component SKUs (materials + labor) and have Shopify automatically deduct each part when the item is sold, our new app Krunch Bundle & Inventory Sync was built exactly for this.

It sounds like you’re looking for a way to build a finished product from multiple component SKUs and automatically deduct the inventory of those components whenever the finished product is sold. In that case, you might want to check out Easify Inventory Sync 
For example, you can create separate SKUs for each material, such as Earwire, Beads, Findings, and Pins, then set up your Earrings product as a finished product made from those components. In the app, you simply define how many units of each material are required to make one pair of earrings, such as:
Earwire × 1
Beads × 4
Finding × 1
Pins × 4
When an order for the Earrings product is placed, the app will automatically deduct the corresponding quantities from the inventory of each component. This allows you to accurately track your raw material stock without having to make manual inventory adjustments after every sale.
I find this especially useful for handmade and made-to-order businesses because inventory is managed based on the actual materials being used rather than maintaining separate inventory levels for every finished product. As for the labor cost, since it isn’t a physical inventory item, it typically wouldn’t be tracked as stock like your materials.

Yeah, this is possible by using Katana MRP, which lets you build finished products from raw material SKUs, including labour cost, and automatically deducts components from stocks on each sale.
I know this thread is a bit old, but I’m curious if anyone has tried integrating these bundling apps with existing Shopify themes. Are there any specific setup tips or challenges you encountered? It’d be great to hear your experiences, especially with Krunch Bundle & Inventory Sync or Easify Inventory Sync, to better understand how they handle inventory and cost syncing in a live store setting.
