My theme seems to have an icon on the storefront which seems to be coming from an app which isn’t on my store. Can anyone help me remove this coding from my theme?

It would be best to share a screenshot of the issue so we can have a better look. Also, if you have an idea what app is causing that icon issue, I highly suggest that you reach out to the app developer of that application no matter if it was already uninstalled in your Shopify account. You can request to them to remove the app widget code that was left in your theme code. They will be able to track their app widget code and remove it on their end.
