Hello!
Usually, if a person signs up to an eCommerce store, and later for some reason wants to quit membership - he or she can always do that by pressing “Close my account” button.
But I cannot find such a button in a Shopify store with Debut theme. (there are only order history and shipping address lines, which is pretty poor and limited).
That’s very strange, since that is an obvious basic functionality.
If somebody have a solution, could you please share that?
I will appreciate that!
Thank you!
Hello @367761 !
Here are the steps to close your Shopify store in Debut theme:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
Click Cancel subscription or Pause or cancel subscription.
Review the options to pause your subscription, or sell your store.
If you still want to cancel, then click Cancel subscription and close store.
Select a reason for the cancellation, and then click Continue.
Enter your password, and then click Close store
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Thanks for reply.
But my question was not about closing account by a merchant.
My question was about closing an account by a customer in my shopify store
Thank you!
Hello @367761 ,
The customer cannot close the account - the account can be closed, paused or reopened on the merchant’s ends only.
Thanks,
