If a tool could fix ONE thing about running your store's design & content - what would you ask for?

Here’s the game: imagine a tool that could take one annoying, slow, or expensive part of managing your store’s design and content off your plate entirely. What do you ask it to do?

To get ideas flowing, some areas where I keep hearing frustration but don’t limit yourself to these:

Design & pages - “I want to change my homepage/campaign pages myself without waiting for anyone or being scared of breaking the theme.” What change do you avoid making today because it feels risky or slow?

AI - Forget generic “AI writes your product descriptions.” If AI could do one real job in your store, what would it be? Auto-building a landing page from a product link? Turning your best-seller’s page into a template for others? Rewriting your pages for a sale event and reverting after? Spotting which section of a page loses people?

Content operations - The repetitive stuff: seasonal banner swaps, updating the same info across 40 product pages, resizing images for every placement, keeping two languages in sync. What eats your hours?

Mobile - Your store on desktop vs. what customers actually see on their phones. What’s broken in that gap that you’ve given up fixing?

Answer in whatever form: one sentence, a rant, a dream feature spec. The only rule: your real situation, not what sounds smart. “I want to stop paying $80 every time I need a banner changed” is more useful than any feature idea.

The real bottleneck for us isn’t making the change, it’s verifying it worked. We can update pages and write content without much trouble, but staging changes, routing them for approval, and testing across desktop, mobile, and email clients takes days. Most updates end up going live after hours just to avoid breaking something customer-facing. A tool that staged changes, handled approvals, and showed the exact preview on all devices in one place would solve the actual workflow problem.

If this helped, mark it helpful for others.

Hi @Weaverse
For me, the biggest time-saver would be a tool that could automatically run regression checks after a design or content change.

It’s not just about previewing the new version, I’d want it to flag what the change may have affected, like broken links, missing images, layout issues on mobile, cart/checkout elements, or tracking scripts.

A before/after comparison with a clear list of what changed and what needs attention would make publishing much less stressful. The real value would be knowing what you might have accidentally broken before customers find it.

Hi @Weaverse :raising_hands:

For me, it’s not one big task—it’s the accumulation of dozens of small repetitive tasks that don’t directly generate revenue but still consume hours every week.

One example is maintaining product information and customization options across a growing catalog. Setting things up the first time isn’t usually the problem. The challenge comes later when you need to make the same change across dozens or hundreds of products.

Let’s say you decide to:

  • Add a new personalization option

  • Update pricing for an add-on

  • Change wording for a customization field

  • Add a new gift-wrap option

  • Adjust conditional rules

None of those changes are difficult individually, but repeating them across a large catalog becomes surprisingly time-consuming.

Another area I’d love to automate is content updates. Seasonal promotions are a good example. Many merchants end up updating banners, promotional text, announcement bars, featured collections, and product messaging manually every time there’s a sale. Then a few weeks later they do it all again for the next campaign.

If AI could do one genuinely useful job for me, it wouldn’t be writing generic product descriptions. I’d rather have it understand the structure of my store and handle operational content work.

For example:

  • Create a campaign page based on a previous promotion

  • Update banners across the site automatically

  • Identify products that still contain outdated promotional text

  • Suggest which pages need mobile optimization

  • Flag inconsistencies between collections, products, and landing pages

On the mobile side, I think many merchants still struggle with visibility. A page can look perfect on desktop and still have issues on mobile—oversized images, crowded option selectors, excessive scrolling, or sections that push key information too far down the page. An AI tool that could explain why a page performs poorly on mobile and suggest specific fixes would be far more valuable than another content generator.

One thing I’ve also noticed is that merchants spend a lot of time recreating the same workflows. Whether it’s product options, personalization fields, bundles, or inventory setups, the ideal tool would be something like:

“Build once, reuse everywhere.”

That’s one reason reusable configurations are so valuable. For example, I’ve seen merchants save a lot of time by using tools like Easify Custom Product Options, where the same option setup can be assigned across multiple products instead of rebuilding it repeatedly. But even then, I’d still love to see more automation around ongoing maintenance and updates.

If I had to pick a single dream feature, it would be:

A system that understands my store structure and automatically applies repetitive changes everywhere they’re needed, while showing me exactly what changed before publishing.

That would save more time than any AI-generated description ever could.

In any given week, we touch the homepage, swap a hero image, adjust a price, rewrite some ad copy and install something. Conversion moves 0.3%, but there’s no honest way to attribute it, so we end up guessing what works based on whatever we changed most recently/drastically. A tool that kept a timestamped log of every change across theme, apps, prices and content, and let me lay that over the conversion graph, would be cool.
