You can definitely offer buy now, pay later installments in Canada. We have a list of available payment gateways, and on that list, it includes, Afterpay and Klarna. Both of these payment providers offer payment installments as a method of payment.

None of these options work adequately. They all require the customer to leave the site. The can require a soft credit check. Shopify needs to enable payment instalments at checkout. There is no credit risk. It’s just splitting the payment. Why can’t this be done?

We would also LOVE to have the option available to us. Any idea where this project is on a priority list? Having a solution through shop pay would be amazing!!! Would really prefer not to have to set up a different provider or jump through other hoops

Yep welcome to Shopify. Been here since very early 2012 and service only gets worse and more expensive (for no extra features).
