I have a collection in which all my items, that I’m actively selling are. In this collection filters just stopped working. I don’t know if I did something or what happened. Now when I go to my main store location and regardless which filter I use, all of the products disapear.
Please help me out, I’m devastated and I don’t know what to do.
As I mentioned I downloaded the latest version of the theme and it’s still broken. Colorblock theme which is made by shopify.
@HelplessSoul77 I spoke to the shopify chat and they said other people have reported the issue and it’s been told to the technical team. They basically said there is nothing I can do but wait. It’s still not on the general shopify status page so it’s probably not affecting all users who have “Search & Discovery”. I STRONGLY encourage you to to get on the chat and report this issue to shopify. The more people that are reporting this issue the more likely it is to be escalated and get fixed sooner.
Go to this page: https://help.shopify.com/en/support/topic-select and login to your store. Click “Store Management”-> “Products, collections, and inventory”-> scroll to the bottom of the page. Click “Chat with Us”.
I created a copy of my theme which I then updated from Studio 13.0.0 to Studio 13.0.1.
I deleted and re-installed Search&Discovery. The error message on Navigation page disappeared, but filters with Search&Discovery still didn’t work. It was exactly the same as on Studio 13.0.0.
So I’m running my shop on Studio 13.0.0. now, but I had to rearrange the whole place so it looks digestable without filters. It’s ok for now, but to be honest I’m affraid to use this app in the future, since it can obviously stop working at any time just like that, without any warning.
I’m running expensive Google and Meta ads and due to this failure I was sending people who clicked to the collection page with filtered products (depends on where they clicked) WHICH WAS EMPTY!! Just imagine the shock I was in when I realized what’s going on completely by accident.
