I’m advertising on Facebook, getting a lot of traffic but it seems they will not go past my home page why?
Hi @broseus-co , it seems that the answer already is partially in your question: your Homepage is the main reason why visitors mostly won’t make it to other pages. We suggest you should take some time looking further into it.
1. Check overall all of needed sections
We highly recommend that you take a successful eCommerce store within your niche/ industry as an example. Do spend some time investigating and analyzing every single section/ detail they have. First of all, did you have enough needed sections? For instance, the attractive header section with CTA button, the Collections section, the Feature products section, the Testimonials/ review sections? Then, dig in the trivial elements of each section, you should have CTA to guide visitors through, your images should be of high quality, your product copy should be well-written, not too short or long but it should be concise. For the rest, you might need more time to dig in and compare your website with the top-tiered websites you wish to be in the future.
- Check again your target audience
Spending too much on ads without reflecting where the ads platform take you to will do more harm than good. We suggest that you re-check your buyer persona and cross-check with the target setting you set on Facebook ads to see if they match. With all the new privacy policy ragarding data management, it’ll be harder for advertisers to run ads without proper understanding of your customers.
