I'm going insane... How do I setup the print side of a Print-on-demand t-shirt store?

Hi everyone,

I’m going kinda insane here. All of the YouTube tutorials show me how to add a t-shirt to a Shopify store, but non seem able to show me how to setup the “Print-On-Demand” part of the t-shirt product?..

Do I need to use a special handshake or break into a secret society?

Thanks.

I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Daniel,

I’ve already started creating a store. I’ve taken a look at adding a product, but my issue is how do I setup the product so when someone buys a t-shirt, it will then be sent to print? I work as a Graphic Designer (20 years of career experience), so I know how to send a brochure etc. to print from Indesign etc. So, I’m not a newbie when it comes to setting up a product for print in the professional environment. But, for the life of me I cannot see how to setup a t-shirt product so it is linked to a print supplier… Thank you for the resources, I’ll take a look later on.

Regards,

C.

Thanks for the added information. I definitely recommend reading over the first resource provided in my initial response as it goes over everything you need to understand and resolve this matter you are facing.

You will basically need to add a print on demand supplier to your store and this company will be the one to manufacture and ship out the products that you will be selling in your store. So before you add a product, you will first need to find your supplier then once you connect them to your store, you can create the products you want from their catalog which you will then import and promote in your store. Once an order comes in, they will do the rest for you and you simply need to pay for the cost.

The first article above provides an in-depth explanation on how the entire process works as well as a list of suppliers that you can work with on the platform.
