Hello I’m new here and I have been finding it diffcult to get traffic on my website
Hi, this is Linette from SearchPie: SEO, Speed & Schema here,
Welcome to the community. Please do not feel discouraged. It is completely normal for a brand new website to struggle with traffic in the very beginning. Search engines just need time to find and trust a new store. For now, make sure you set up Google Search Console. You should check it regularly to see if your pages are actually indexed by Google. If they are not indexed, people cannot find you in search results.
While you wait for Google to do its job, you should focus on outside methods to bring people to your site. Use social media like TikTok or Instagram to show off your products. You can also try setting up an affiliate program so other people can promote your store for a small cut, or collaborate with other creators to build helpful backlinks to your website.
Could you share your website link? We would love to take a closer look and give you some more specific advice!
Short-Form Video (Free): Post consistently on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Show your products in action or share behind-the-scenes content. This is the fastest way to get thousands of free organic views right now.
Basic SEO (Long-term): Add high-search keywords to your product titles, descriptions, and page headings so Google can easily find and rank your store when people search for what you sell.
Micro-Budget Ads (Paid): Run simple, targeted traffic campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or TikTok for just $5 a day to instantly push qualified buyers to your site.

Please help me.
I understand your need and the pain it is causing you. However, when it comes to businesses, specifically, e-commerce, people won’t come to your website/products to buy until they know about what you are selling.
Now, this is where your work lies, which is to create awareness for your products. You need to make your products visible.
Here are ways you can make that happen;
- SEO optimization with Google
- Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok
- Google ads and Facebook ads
- Email marketing
So, all these method will drive traffic to your website/products if done rightly and sales can start coming in.
In essence, you need marketing for it.
Hi @Jerry000,
I have just inspected you website. Overall, your web looks very clean and professional for a fitness brand. I really like how you use bold headlines and a clear comparison table to show why your leggings are better than the big brands, that is a great way to build value. However, the store still feels a little bit like a standard template, and I saw there was only 1 product available yet?
To get more sales, I highly recommend adding some real “social proof” like photos of actual customers (which is aka UGC) wearing your gear or a short video review. People buying activewear want to see how the fabric moves and fits on different body types, and adding that human touch will make your brand look much more established and trustworthy.
Good luck!
Hey, I get you. Traffic can be really tricky sometimes. How long has your store been live, and what have you been using to bring people in so far? Are you trying ads, social media, SEO, or just relying on organic traffic?
