Image appears behind the text when scrolling - Dawn Theme

This user has been designing websites and the landing pages that she shows has image appears when she’s scrolling and the text is on top of that image. There’s this parallex effect in my opinion and gives a luxury feel to the website. In the intro of the video where the about us section appears, the image appears first on scrolling and then there’s text coming up.

I want to understand what is this called and how can I replicate the same for my website on Dawn theme?

Hi @The11Batch :waving_hand: It’s section with a fixed background scroll which overlaps with the techniques used for parallax, of course when searching it can go by different names and keywords.

What the video shows is a premade theme, and what your asking for is how to develop themes or just how to do general web development which is way beyond the scope of the forums.

There are tons of scrolling background and parallax tutorials on the web to use as a basis to then integrate into a theme as an advanced customization.
