Importing/Exporting pages and page templates to other stores

Topic summary

Goal: Replicate U.S. store pages and templates to U.K. and Canada Shopify stores, including theme pages and Shogun-built pages.

Key suggestions:

  • Shogun pages: Use Shogun’s built-in export feature to move pages between stores. Note: a responder reports it often doesn’t work reliably.
  • Regular pages: Try third‑party export/import apps:
    • Matrixify (bulk export/import of pages and other data)
    • Filey – Files Backup & Export
    • ExIm – Export Import Pages, Blogs, Theme Settings
  • Page templates: Prefer manual transfer or use the Shopify API for accurate replication, as templates and page associations can be tricky via apps.

Context/terms:

  • Shogun is a third‑party page builder app for Shopify pages.
  • Page templates define the layout for specific pages in a theme.

Status/outcome: No confirmed solution from the original poster. Action items are to attempt Shogun export, test the listed apps, or proceed with manual/API export; professional help was offered if tools fail. The thread remains open/ongoing.

So I am working on customizing our Canada and UK shopify sites to look like our USA site.

A lot of our pages are linked to specific page templates which makes them appear the way they do. Other pages are built through the shopify theme itself and other pages are built on ShoGun. I am wondering if there is an easy way to export these pages to the UK and CA sites so they will look the exact same as they do on the USA website.

Any help would be great!

You’d need to export the shogun pages by using export feature on shogun app. Although I’ve never seen it work properly.

For pages you can use any of the following apps -

Page templates and Pages are better to export manually or via API. If the above apps don’t work for you I can share a quote for replicating the websites.
