How can we best integrate our blog, with its focus on houseplant care (fertilizing, propagation, soil health, etc.), with the Impulse theme to maximize SEO and user experience?

Thank you. We currently have a Wordpress blog with nearly 200 blog posts already which will be migrated over to our Shopify site. Is there any best practice SEO guidance for this migration?

  1. Inventory all current URLs with a crawler (e.g. Screaming Frog)
  2. Map redirects from all current URLs to new URLs 1:1
  3. Avoid merging pages
  4. QA redirects post-launch with a crawler

Pitfalls to avoid:

  1. Broken or missing redirects
  2. Significant changes to titles, headings, body copy, or internal links
  3. Removing structured data, user reviews, etc.
  4. Merging pages that should remain separate
