My store is bilingual (English/Chinese), using “langify” for language conversion.
Recently, I installed Impulse theme for testing/evaluation. For English, the product setting of color swatches is fine. However, when switched to Chinese, all color swatches turn white.
It said its color swatch supports multi-language even a year ago. Does anyone have the experience to set it right? Thanks.

We’re still testing & setting up the Impulse theme. Hence, preview link only.
Hello,
We are facing the same challenge trying to make the swatches work in multiple languages with langify.
Have you found a way how it is done? Also, do you know how to translate the product images’ alt-texts to assign them correctly to the corresponding color variants?
Looking forward to hearing from you

Hi @StephenKWChow ,
Michael from Langify here.
I’ve added a solution to this issue here:
https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-translate-adapt/color-swatch-in-multi-language-website-not-available/m-p/2527587#M2162
In short: the solution is to bulk-delete/bulk-reset your color swatch translations (the solution in the link above shows how to do this in bulk via export/import) and translate your color swatches via Custom Contents in
Langify → Custom → Global Strict Mode
instead.
