Hi There,

First, make sure your default tax rate is set to 21% under Settings > Taxes and duties for your region.

Then create a product collection or tag specifically for food items. Once those products are grouped, go back into Taxes and duties > Tax overrides, choose your country, and create a tax override for the food products. Set the rate to 6%.

Shopify will apply the 6% VAT only to those selected items, while everything else keeps the default 21%.

This works without an app if you’re just managing two rates. Let me know if you’re dealing with more complex categories.

@mattsalsa IS there any video or screen shot instruction of how to do this please
