Is there a way to allow customers purchasing e-gift cards to have a message included? We auto fulfill any e-gift cards and the messages they leave in their cart on checkout don’t pull through to the gift card sent to the recipient.

It also let’s you pick a delivery date as well as record a message. If you find that gift-cards are a big selling point for you, then it would definitely be worth optimizing and creating a very seamless and polished experience for your buyers.

If you are looking to keep it simple, have you tried taking auto-fulfillment off to see if that pulls the information through?
Also, where have you enabled the gift message and what is the name of your theme? Depending on your theme, you may be able to request this as a customization or hire an Expert to write the necessary code for you.
