It’s not so much that they don’t realize it, in fact my guess is that they can fix it pretty easily, but it seems whoever is working on it doesn’t have the green light to do it, because of some other factors which are unknown to us.
I’m quite curious whether this affects all stores or just some, that would be pretty interesting to know. If it’s only a handful then most likely it’s not very high on their to-do list.
My only concern is that Shopify has been known to ignore issues for years and at this point I’m afraid this might go down as one of those, especially because the only official response we got in this thread is “it’s not our fault” which by this point we know is a lie.
