Go to your Themes → Edit Code and search for a slideshow in sections. Open it and press Ctrl + F and look for a limit. Change the number to the one you like. Save.

It seems that only works if it is my main theme, but I am currently only using it as a tryout template (as it costs 240$). Is there any other way or maybe a way to make it my main theme without purchasing it..?
You have to purchase it before making any changes in the code. Same applies to other paid themes.
Thats strange. I need to know that it truly works before purchasing it… are you certain the limit can be changed?
Yes, every theme can be customised as per your liking, as long as you have an access to the code.
