If a customer normally in the UK goes on holiday to the US and tries to access UK site will they get put into a redirect loop because of the cookie / cache because of a geo redirect app installed on my store.

Can you tell me which app you are using, and what settings you have enabled within the app? Is there any specific settings you have enabled for customers visiting the site from the US?

We are testing various apps that Geo Redirects based on IP. One of our UK customer went to US & when accessed the store was redirected to US store. Same customer when went back to UK & accessed the store was caught in an Infinite Loop between UK & US.

Okay, I see. My presumption here is that this is not expected behaviour, or is at least something that cannot be rectified without the customer clearing their browser’s cache. I would recommend contacting the app developers directly to ask if they are aware of this issue and if there’s a way around it (other than a cache clear).
