Im looking to insert a collection or products of my online store into a 3rd party website, and allow people to purchase those products in that website without having to click off into a separate tab. This would likely be in a subpage of the website if possible. Just wondering if anyone could help me out with that. Thanks!
Topic summary
A user wants to embed products from their online store into a third-party website, allowing purchases without redirecting visitors to a separate tab. Ideally, this would be implemented on a subpage.
Proposed Solution:
- Another participant tested Shopify’s Buy Button embeds, which can display individual products or collections
- Customers can add items to cart and checkout via a Shopify-tied modal that stays within the site layout
Current Limitations:
- Styling customization options are restricted
- Uncertain performance with larger product catalogs
- Questions remain about optimizing multi-product purchases on a single page
The discussion remains open, with the solution working in testing but concerns about scalability and user experience unresolved.
I started looking into embedding my Shopify collection into a third-party site using Buy Button embeds. It lets me display individual products or collections, and people can add items to a cart and even check out—still within the site layout, though the checkout itself technically opens in a modal tied to Shopify.
I’ve got it working on a test page, but styling is limited, and I’m not sure how well it holds up with larger catalogs or if there’s a better way to handle multi-product purchases on one page.
