please assist customers who have been scammed by Insole.co.za they allow you to pay for something they not going to deliver I’m one of the victims I both shoes/sneakers from them and according to their policy delivery takes 3 to 5 working days my order was placed on the 15th of September 2024 till today I haven’t received anything and when I chat to them they keep on making excuses this is bad as theres lot of South African who are scammed as we speak check their website you’ll see the sales coming through and it’s said that these are innocent people who will not get their items nor their money back :person_pouting: :person_pouting: :person_pouting:

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. There are a lot of scams online and a lot of fake stores. First, did you install the Shop Pay app? Did you get any confirmation of order or shipment?

For money, you can try with your bank but usually is not easy. You can report them at https://www.shopify.com/legal/tools/report-an-issue/report-a-merchant.

For being a scam store, yes there are a few red flags.

  • For me, a lack of business and contact information is crucial. They have just a Gmail contact. That is not enough.
  • Prices sound like a bit too low, no?
  • A domain is not even 2 months old, but being a new store does not make it a fake story but adds to the suspicion
  • They do not have a free theme, but a paid Impact theme. But it is so old version, from 2 years ago, so it is strange how it is acquired

I mean, it could be just a new store but a few things add up.

Thank you for posting this, maybe some customers do a search on Google before buying so it will show up with warning.

Hi Laza the order was confirmed but shipping is where I’m getting issues on and I’ve tried with the bank they could not help, I’ve reported this matter on the link given I haven’t received any feedback too

I am also a victim of this nonsense store and have been scammed R4581 and their store is no longer visible and they have made their virtual chat inaccessible. I would like to ask if you have received the products or have been helped by Shopify in any way.
