Instagram/Facebook showing highest price of variant

Hi

I’ve seen this on previous boards but didn’t find an answer. I have a product with 3 variants and Instagram/Facebook is default displaying the highest price. I’d like it to obviously display the lowest price!

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

I also have this problem on my site. Shopify doesn’t seem to know how to fix this.

I think i’ve found a solution as my instagram shop (@LEPUPLONDON) is now displaying the items with the lowest value as per our shopify website www.lepup.co.uk.

In Meta business Suites go to Commerce>Catalogue>Data Sources. Under the ‘Data feeds’ section, you should see your Shopify product feed - ours is titled ‘Shopify Dynamic Facebook Ads Product Feed’. You should be able to click on this section under Data feeds.

At the top of the page you should see 3 tabs, Overview, Items & Settings…Click on ‘items’ (between overview and settings) and it should bring up all of your products. Select one product and click on the arrow ‘>’ this should open up all the variants within this product.

You should be able to archive every variant except the cheapest one. Your Instagram should now be displaying the item with the lowest price, if not then please check again that all variants (except the cheapest) have been archived. Hope this helps!

Happy selling,

I have 600 products. and 7 varients for each. That’s a lot of work!

Hey , did you find a new way to do it better ?

I still haven’t figured out a way to this. My products are listed correctly from lowest to highest on the Shopify webpage, but on Instagram they show up in a random and inconsistent order for every product. From Meta Business Suite>Commerce Manager>Catalog>Items> Select Product Select edit the products are listed but there is no way to organize them. I have tried:

• Setting the status of every variant except the lowest priced on to inactive to see if they would organize once the were Active again, but this just removed the variants. To get them back I had to change the product from Active to Draft and back to Active on Shopify.

• Adding SKU numbers to see if the variants would organize alphanumerically, but that didnt work either. Had no effect on the organization.

• Adding number values to the Decor Style collumn under Meta Business Suite>Commerce Manager>Catalog>Items> Select Product Select edit

NONE OF IT WORKED. If anyone has managed to find a viable solution, I’d love to know how!

I also cannot figure this out. I have 600+ products as well and getting lots of conversion issues with customers as they see this high price and bounce. I’ve contacted Meta and still nothing.

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing the same problem on my shop https://www.ohme.shop.

Although this thread is quite old, have you found a solution since then?

Thank you very much!
