I currently have an affiliate website called Paintballing Pro , and I am looking to expand my business by integrating my own store onto my website. I have found Shopify to be a reliable platform for e-commerce, but I have concerns about the potential impact on my website’s load time. As load time is an important ranking factor nowadays, I want to ensure that integrating Shopify does not significantly increase the load time of my website.
I am currently using the GeneratePress theme without a page builder, and my website’s load time is within an acceptable range. However, I want to understand if it is possible to seamlessly integrate my website with Shopify while keeping the impact on load time to a minimum.
Rio here from the Shopify Community team. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns about integrating Shopify into your website. I understand that load time is an important factor for your website’s ranking, and I’m happy to help you find a solution that works for you.
One option you may want to consider is using the Shopify Buy Button to embed your products onto your website. This will allow you to seamlessly integrate your store with your website while keeping the impact on load time to a minimum.
Have you thought of using Shopify as your main website, unifying everything under Shopify can provide benefits such as a centralized dashboard for managing your store and website, as well as access to a wide range of apps and integrations to help you grow your business.
