Hey,
We run a Shopify store that sells products in both the US and Australia. The prices for the products are different in each country, and we want to restrict customers from seeing and ordering products at the lower price point intended for the other country.
We do not want to create two separate stores, and we are wondering if there is a way to restrict the pricing and ordering based on the customer’s location. I am wondering if this can be done through shipping restrictions or if there is a better solution available.
Additionally, we need the payouts to go to their respective accounts (e.g. US Sales to US Bank Account).
We have looked into using geo-targeting apps or currency conversion apps, but we are not sure which one would be the best fit for our store. We are also unsure if we need to upgrade to Shopify Plus for this.
Can anyone suggest the best solution for our situation, or recommend any apps that we can use to implement this on our store? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi there,
To restrict customers from seeing and ordering products at the lower price point intended for the other country, you can use a geo-targeting app to detect the customer’s location and display the appropriate pricing and availability based on their location. Some popular geo-targeting apps for Shopify include Geolocation Redirect and GeoIP Country Redirect.
For the payouts to go to their respective accounts, you can use Shopify’s multi-currency feature, which is available on all Shopify plans. This feature allows you to set up different currencies for different countries and automatically convert prices based on the customer’s location. You can also set up separate bank accounts for different currencies, so that payouts are automatically deposited in the appropriate account.
If you prefer not to use the multi-currency feature, you can use a currency conversion app like Currency Converter Box or Auto Currency Switcher to display prices in the appropriate currency for the customer’s location.
Not sure you need to upgrade to Shopify Plus to implement these features, as they are available on all Shopify plans.
Hope it helps!
