We want to celebrate the members who make the Shopify Community helpful. That’s why we are introducing a new Badge System to showcase your achievements.
Starting today, your earned badges aka your contributions are displayed by username. They go where you post!
What do badges on display do?
- Credibility: Show others that you know your stuff.
- Recognition: Stand out as a top contributor in discussions.
- Milestones: Track your own growth within the community.
How do I get them?
No sign-up required. Just keep posting and engaging topics when you see value.
Here are the 9 badges currently being highlighted:
- Regular: For reaching Trust Level 3.
- Aficionado: For logging in 100 days in a row.
- Power User 2024: For the top 500 most engaged users in 2024. We can’t wait to release 2025 Power User
- 100 Accepted Solutions: For providing 100 accepted solutions.
- 100 Likes: For earning 100 likes across your content.
- 50 Posts: For creating 50 discussions or replies.
- Good Topic: For a single topic that earns 25 likes.
- Good Reply: For a single reply that earns 25 likes.
- Gives Back: For members with 100 liked posts who have also given 100 likes.
