Inventory Verification “Pending”

I am being told that in an attempt to resolve my Local Inventory pending status that I need to disconnect from the Shopify App and then reinstall it. Once this is done they are telling me that I then need to disconnect the Google Merchant Center and wait a few minutes and then sign back in. All of this is in attempt to get my Inventory pending status to continue.
this process of trying to get google and Shopify to interface is now going on two years of constant customer support and with both Google and Shopify pointing the fingers at each other but neither coming up with a solution as to why this is happening.
My main concern Is after hundreds of hours of getting products good enough without all the continuous errors GTIN, MPN missing price missing link… I dont want to go backwards on the suggestion from a Google tech to “give this a try” seems rather irresponsible for google not to have a solid solution to what is going on with the process. As for Shopify resolving this issue this is next to impossible with their lack of customer support! It’s always read this or read that and that’s not Shopify’s area.
I am waiting to hear back from Shopify before I do this as I don’t want to risk loosing any infrastructure that I have spent the last few years perfecting.
Google can’t tell me why the Local inventory feed is stuck in pending mode?
I am nervous to perform this step if it is risky and just fleeting idea from the Google tech dept. They really can’t tell me why it is not working.
anyone have advise who has gone thru this?
