I hope you all had a great and warm Christmas! I’m currently working on my shop and while testing on different devices, I’ve run into a frustrating problem that I can only reproduce on iOS devices.
When I try to add a product to the cart on any iOS device, the animation shows the item flying toward the cart, but nothing actually gets added. A quick refresh doesn’t solve it either. When I tap “Add to Cart” a second time, the item finally gets added, but only one piece is added despite tapping twice. My assumption is that the first tap only triggers the hover effect, while the second tap actually performs the add-to-cart action.
I’ve done some research and found several older forum posts and questions about similar iOS issues, though most of them relate to different themes. I’ve tried the solutions suggested in those threads, but unfortunately, none of them have worked so far. I’ve also tried troubleshooting with different AI tools without success.
I’m using the Ritual theme, and I’d really appreciate some solid advice or even a step-by-step guide on how to fix this bug.
