Irritating choice for placeholder in name input on checkout page customizer

Hello,

I was just customizing the checkout page on a client’s store and saw that for the name input a placeholder was used that is quite irritating: Albert Eichmann. It reminds a lot of the national socialist criminal Adolf Eichmann. This seems quite bad taste to me. Who can I reach out to to change this? I think the placeholder depends on the region setting of the store (germany in this case), so in other countries this will be a different name.

The placeholder names in checkout are system defaults based on the language/region of the store. These cannot be edited in the checkout for checkout hosted by Shopify. The workaround is to change the store’s language file or add a translation override under Settings → Languages → Checkout & system and replace the placeholder with something neutral.
