Shipsurance coverage requires that the transaction of the shipped item be made under a “Commercial Sales Invoice”. Is the record of a standard sales transaction that is conducted through our Shopify store sufficient as a “Commercial Sales Invoice”, or is something else required? This isn’t defined on either Shopify or Shipsurance websites that I can find.

The Shopify Order Invoice, Packing Slips, and Shipping Labels will contain all the necessary information for the insurance company.
Additionally, for international shipments, the generation of a Commerce Invoice depends on the carrier you’ve selected.
In most cases, these details should be comprehensive. However, it is advisable to double-check with the Shipsurance team for confirmation.
