Is anyone else confused by Shopify’s new marketplace-collected tax for Shop app orders?

Shopify quietly rolled out the new marketplace facilitator tax rules for all Shop-app orders starting Jan 2025 and now they’re withholding sales tax directly from payouts.

I’m curious: how are you all handling this in your accounting system?
