Is anyone else having trouble with their checkout page not loading?

Hi, is anyone experiencing the same problem with the checkout page? I’ve been unable to get to the checkout page from the cart and have received many customers feedback for the same problem. The checkout page simply doesn’t load at all…

I’ve been trying to contact shopify online chat but haven’t got connected after 30 mins now…

Thank you for reaching out here to get some help with this issue. Could you please share your store URL here for us to test? Could you also confirm a few questions for me:

  • Are you seeing an error message? If yes, what is it?
  • Did you recently install an app to your store or make any coding changes?
  • Do you have any apps installed that access/affect the cart page?
  • Have you tried changing the cart page to a slide out cart to see if that works?
  • Have you tested the cart to checkout in another theme (using the theme editor)?

These are all good troubleshooting steps to review when trying to resolve issues like this.

No, there is no error message. The page simply doesn’t load. We didn’t make any changes at all, no apps, no code change, no change of any kind at all.

Thank you for the link! I am able to replicate this issue. It looks like there is some kind of problem with the redirection to the checkout that is left hanging, but I wasn’t able to see any specific errors on my end.

I would ask that you please stay on the line with our live support team to report this issue. If you scheduled a call back, I would also try connecting to live chat as well as it can be faster. Our technical team will want to take a closer look at what is happening!
