I have a return customer from Israel who is trying to order once again from my store. Previously the shipping charge generated by shopify was $24 usd with DHL Express service, back in 2020. It has now changed to 500-1,100 shekel. Is anyone else experiencing this drastic change?
For clarification, I have my shipping zones set up correctly and this has been confirmed by shopify support, yet the shipping charge is still populating so high.
hi @katsow I would recommend you visit the DHL website for your country and try getting real-time quotes from your address to the customer’s address. Ideally, even if the shipping cost has gone up it would not be as high as more than 10x. Please check the prices for the same service i.e. DHL Express, weight and dimensions of the box.
Some factors can spike up the shipping cost like shipment insurance, special services like Saturday delivery, delivery proof/signature, etc. However, it would not justify this high price.
