Is Authorize.net still unavailable for new Shopify users?

Checking if Authorize.net is still not a gateway integration option with Shopify if you are a new Shopify user.

Hi there, @supportargyle !

Welcome to the Community! Definitely a great place to gather some input regarding anything about the platform!

With regards to your inquiry, I have found this help document that outlines all possible alternative gateways that you can use depending on your country. Please give this a look over to see what options you have to use on your end.

Definitely let us know how this works out for you. I am more than happy to assist you further, if need be.

It is our understanding that if a merchant is already setup with Shopify and Authorize.net the merchant doesn’t need to change anything and they proceed with no issues. A new Shopify merchant wanting to use Auth.net gateway is not possible as Authorize.net is no longer an option for the merchant to select in the Choose A Provider.
Can you please confirm that Authorize.net is no longer an option? We want to ensure we provide the correct information to a merchant.
Thank you
Supportargyle

As mentioned above, the available kinds of third party gateways vary depending on where the store is located. Please share the document with your client so they can find all the possible gateways available in their country.

I see authorize.net is back on the supported gateway list. Is it possible to use it now for new instances?
