We are using Edgemesh for Shopify and there is supposedly 91% speed acceleration to our store, however I cannot see this acceleration on metrics like google pagespeed insights and pingdom, so I was wondering how accurate is this.
I am curious if anyone else has tried this and noticed any improvement to speed or has any commends about it.

I’m with Edgemesh, but the information below applies in general.
Both Page Speed Insights and Pingdom (free test) use synthetic performance scores. Basically, they run a single browser (with no cache) and measure the performance for that page load. This is useful for auditing but isn’t reflective of your real user scores. Page Speed insights also include a section called “Field Data” , this is real performance metrics gathered from real users (running Chrome) and what Google uses internally. You can also use BigQuery to access this data historically - here’s a link on that bit: https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-user-experience-report/bigquery/getting-started
Edgemesh captures the same real user metrics which you can see in the portal in the Performance > Overview panel. I’m sure your account partner would be happy to run through those with you (and they can also pull your historical Google scores if you’d like). Pingdom also offers a real user metrics product (https://www.pingdom.com/real-user-monitoring/) if you’d like another 3rd party to check against (all RUM products capture the same basic data).
