A few days ago I bought a robot from an Instagram page that redirected me to a website exonshop.shopify.com
I made the payment and was told that I’d receive the billing and payment details. However, I didn’t get any, furthermore upon contacting them on their contact us page, they didn’t respond.
As of now the site shows unavailable on google search. Can anyone assist me here? I’ve probably made a bogus payment here, an
I understand this isn’t an ideal situation to be in once you realise the store is inaccessible. However, Shopify is the ecommerce service merchants use to run their stores. We don’t ship or manage orders.
Was the purchase amount already deducted from your bank account? Also, how long ago did you contact the merchant? There could be several reasons the store may have closed just temporarily, and perhaps the merchant takes longer to respond to the customer’s inquiries for this reason.
I would also advise you to check their social media profiles and try to reach out there.
I do want to stress we absolutely do not condone any type of fraudulent activity on Shopify. If your order has not arrived within four weeks, and you have not heard from the store’s team, contact your bank or payment provider for guidance on what to do next.
