We would like to know when Google Pay could be activated for French e-shops?
Indeed, there are many users for Apple Pay on our store (8/10% already) and we therefore think that the use of Google Pay is also important and would like to be able to offer it to our customers to conclude sales more easily.

I understand that you are looking to integrate Google Pay as one of the accelerated options with your Shopify Payments. At this time, you can use Shopify Payments with Google Pay in all regions except France, or you can try to search for Google Pay as a payment method in the list of third-party payment providers in Settings > Payments to see if it is available.
While I am unable to provide any specific updates regarding this matter, I will definitely pass along your feedback to the appropriate team for their consideration.

Unfortunately Google Pay in the normal version or in accelerated payment is not available in France even through third-party providers, which is why we are wondering why it is not available in our country.

Regarding the reasons behind this, I am unable to provide any updates here. What I can mention is that at Shopify, we are constantly working to enhance the merchant experience. Although I cannot offer updates on the progress of this feature, you can stay informed by monitoring the Shopify Changelog and keeping an eye on the Payments section in your Shopify Admin.
