Is it normal for SSL to remain pending after a week?

I’m having an issue with my domain (Twistedcork.ch) It seems to work for some people and not others? also the SSL pending has been pending for about 7 days now.. should I be concerned.

I understand that some customers are able to navigate to your website, however, others are not able to access it. You also mentioned that there’s been an SSL pending message next to your domain for 7 days now.

Is the SSL pending error message still present next to your domain? I did a search for your domain on my end and the information is as follows:

  • Your domain points to Shopify
  • Your A Record is valid and points to 23.227.38.65
  • There are no AAAA records.

However, I noticed that the DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) is active on your domain. With the DNSSEC enabled on your domain, this will usually prevent the domain from loading properly. Since you’re using a third-party domain, I recommend contacting your third-party domain provider to turn it off, as this cannot be turned off from within the Shopify admin.

Lastly, I had a chance to browse your website and really enjoyed learning about your brand and products. Your How it Works page is very informative and I like that you’ve included a call-to-action button. When navigating to your storefront, I noticed you have your Instagram account in the footer section. Have you thought about integrating other social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest into this section? Adding additional social platforms can help reach a larger audience and boost brand visibility. Check out our Shopify Blog resource for more information on how to best utilize these platforms.

Hi, I have disabled DNSSEC on my third-party Go-Daddy Domain, however, won’t it make my domain less secure? It shows this warming on the third-party platform when I disable DNSSEC. It says: DNSSEC is a security protocol that adds an extra layer of protection to the DNS of a domain. It works by digitally signing DNS records to ensure they aren’t tampered with or forged during transit and helps verify the authenticity and integrity of the website and services connected to your domain.
