So my scanner came today, the charging stand box was shrink wrapped, but the scanner was not - so I am hoping I did not get one someone else returned for not working right, and no instructions - I know there is supposed to be a book with codes for setting up a scanner. Is this normal? Should the book be included?
Yeah, I’ve seen this happen before. Sometimes it’s just the charging contacts getting dirty, so give those a quick clean and also try a fresh set of batteries just to rule that out. If it still won’t power on, best bet is to reach out to support since it’s only a year old, they might repair or swap it under warranty. Pretty frustrating for something that costs that much though.
Hi there,
Congrats on receiving your scanner! From my experience, most scanners usually do come with a setup guide or a booklet with barcodes for configuration. If yours didn’t include one, it could be missing from the packaging, or sometimes brands now provide a digital manual on their website instead of a printed version.
I’d suggest checking the manufacturer’s support page for a downloadable PDF of the setup codes. If you don’t find anything there, it may be worth contacting the seller or the manufacturer directly to confirm whether your package was complete.
By any chance can I have a website link where you bought the Scanner? So that I can read their policies and respond you accordingly.
Thanks
