Our business is expanding and we will soon be selling from e.g. two pop up events on the same day and at the same time but in different locations in the next few months - we currently have one Shopify chip and pin reader that we use. I assume we can just buy another card reader and they can both connect to the Shopify POS app simultaneously but in different locations? We are based in the UK.
You’re more than welcome to have more than one device while at a popup event. However; you will want to ensure you have a device for each reader as connecting two readers to one device wouldn’t be possible and/or would cause connectivity issues as the device will always pick the reader that has the strongest signal.
Logging into the POS app from two different locations and processing sales from each device shouldn’t cause any issues.
