Is it Within Shopify’s Rules to Sell Gas Mask Filters?
Is it Within the Rules of The Payment Gateway Providers (The Ones Used With “Shopify Payments”) to Sell Gas Mask Filters?
And I would ONLY be Selling them / Shipping Them Within the United States (it is against the law to ship gas mask filters to other countries, outside of the USA).
I am talking about 40mm NATO / RD40 Industrial Gas Mask Filters (Activated Charcoal / NBC / ABEK).
These Gas Mask Filters are Definitely Sold on eBay and Amazon, so I am thinking it is Fine on Shopify. But I certainly don’t want to break any rules.

I had a look into our Acceptable Use Policy and I did not find gas mask filters in any of our restricted or prohibited categories, so you should be all set to sell them using Shopify Payments!
One thing to make sure for Shopify Payments is that you are based in a region where it is supported. You can check this by going to our supported payment gateways page here - just scroll down to the bottom and select your country from the list.
Could you tell me a little bit more about your product? Are you selling the filters along with the masks, or are you just looking to set up a one product store? I would love to see how else I can help you out here.
I am based in the USA, so I am pretty sure I am good to go with Shopify Payments 
I have used Shopify before actually.
I am only interested in selling the mask filters for now, but may consider selling gas masks in the future too, depending on how it went.
I’m guessing if it is ok to sell gas mask filters, then it must be ok to sell gas masks too???
I too looked at ALL of Shopify’s policies and restricted items, and payment process rules, etc. etc. (and I couldn’t find ANY mention of gas masks or gas masks filters either.)
I would likely just do a one product store for this, or maybe just have a very small handful of products or something.

If you do wish to start selling gas masks in future, you will indeed be able to as they don’t appear restricted anywhere either.
