Hi i added the product with option in sizes & colors without SKU. Is there an issue with it or it’s fine? what if i don’t want to add the SKU?

After doing a bit more research, I came across @amiddles response here: https://community.shopify.com/c/payments-shipping-and/how-do-you-handle-missing-sku-numbers/m-p/1801176/highlight/true#M65860 @amiddles suggests to make up your own SKU and provides his naming convention. Good stuff.

In my case the SKU field is required.
Any suggestions as to what to do when I don’t have an SKU?
I am using the product as a digital service not a physical product.
