Is it possible to add a METAFIELD to the SORT BY options?

Hi

Is it possible to add a METAFIELD to the SORT BY options for products.

For example, when I load a collection up, there are a number of products returned. I can then SORT these products via the available options (Price High to Low, etc). My question is, am I able to add one of the METAFIELD vaues I am capturing for each product to the SORT BY options?
