Is it possible to add a product directly into a customers account?

Hi there,

I was wondering if it’s possible to add a product directly into a customers account? A few customers accounts didn’t transfer across from Wordpress hence they lost their purchase history.

I was looking to add the products (digital) back into their account area so they can have a direct access to the downloads.

It is possible to add a digital product directly to a customer’s account in Shopify. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the customer’s account in Shopify.
  2. Click on the “Orders” tab.
  3. Click on “Create order” and select the customer’s email.
  4. Add the digital product to the order.
  5. In the order summary, click on “Mark as paid”.
  6. The digital product will now be available for download in the customer’s account.

Note that this method will not show up in the customer’s purchase history or generate a new order, but it will allow the customer to access the digital product.
