I want to alow my customers to add products to the cart and once they hit the checkout, before collecting the payment I want to collect some more information. Is it possible?

- What additional information would you like to collect from customers at checkout?
- Which plan are you currently using?
- Which theme are you currently using?
Only merchants on the Shopify Plus plan can edit the checkout beyond the settings found in your Shopify admin or the customizations explained here. That being said, there may be other ways to collect more informaton from your customers, depending on the type of information you need.
You can find the default checkout form options here. Depending on the additional information you want to collect, you can also add areas to your cart or product pages to allow customers to enter more information. For example, most themes have a cart notes section you can add to your cart page for customers to add more information before checkout. You can find more information about this here. There are also third party apps you can use to allow customers to add more information directly on product pages.
