We recently had a customer call asking about our free shipping policy. We don’t offer a free shipping policy at this time, and after some confusion, I realized where the issue lies. When looking up a collections page and our store name on Google, it states we offer free delivery over $100. This text doesn’t show up when just searching our store.
Is there any way of changing this?
You’re talking about the bottom of a search result for your collection page in Google, correct? Google will automatically pull the shipping and returns information from Merchant Center for both organic and paid search results. If you don’t set your policies up in Merchant Center, they have to guess.
You can configure the delivery information in Merchant Center using this doc or there is a setting in the Google Sales channel to automatically pull it from Shopify.
