Is it possible to defer processing payment for items purchased that are not yet in stock. For example, I have items en route from my supplier, thought they won’t arrive for 2-3 weeks. I’ve already uploaded the items to my site with the caveat that they will not be available for 2-3 weeks.
Is there a way to defer processing payment until the items arrive and are ready to ship? At the moment I have a note on the product page that the items are not yet in stock and that they will ship when they arrive. But the payment will still be processed now because I don’t know how to defer that process until the items actually arrive.
