Is it possible to integrate only Paypal, not Paypal Express?

short question is it somehow possible to just integrate Paypal and not Paypal Express?

Great question! When you set up your Shopify store, Shopify creates a PayPal Express Checkout account using the email address you use to sign into your store. If you already have a PayPal account with that email address, then you receive payments from orders made with PayPal right away.

You would need the PayPal Express because that involves the checkout aspect of a business PayPal account. Without it, you wouldn’t be able to connect PayPal to your store. I hope that answers your question!
