Is it possible to set Shopify only for pick ups? I have questions, please help!

Hello,

We are in the process of setting up our Shopify store and have a few questions regarding delivery and in-store pickup options:

1 Removing the Delivery Option: We want to ensure that the delivery option is not visible to our customers, as we are offering in-store pickup only. Is it possible to disable or hide the delivery option in our store?

2 Selecting a Pickup Date: Is it possible to configure our store to allow customers to choose a pickup date when they complete their purchase?

3 Blocking Specific Dates: We would like to block certain dates when pickup will not be available. Is there a code that allows us to set unavailable dates for in-store pickup?

4 **Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance, so the idea is to prevent people from trying to place orders for immediate pickup (or less than 48 hours pickup). So is there a way to block off the current day, and the current day +1.

You can certainly set up your store to be Pick Up only.

Go to your Shopify admin and click on Settings > Shipping and delivery and you should see a bunch of options for Shipping profiles, Local delivery and Pick up. You can turn off the delivery options and configure your Pick up locations.

As for the date picker, you will need to use an app for something like this, or custom code it yourself. I actually built a date picker app which does all of the things you mentioned you need (plus more) if you wanted to check it out: https://apps.shopify.com/bloom-pickup-and-delivery

Hey - it doesn’t have a zip code validator built in, but you can set up different delivery zones based on postcode in your Shopify settings, and these will apply during checkout.
