I am afraid I do not have access to any updates relating to possible future platform updates - My role is to collect feedback and ensure the correct teams know what updates are wanted by our merchants. I have submitted that you want to see customer sorting added as a priority, and I also just want to reassure you that as a store owner myself I absolutely see how useful this would be!
I cannot guarantee when or even if this change will be implemented, but I do want you and everyone else here on this thread to know that I have heard you and have passed this feedback onto the team who do have the power to implement these changes. Thank you again for your valuable feedback!
